Alfie is an IOT device which connected to an app and allow to order things by talking to the device or chat with the app. Alfie knows what is the user preferences and know to offer what is the best solution per user.

I was taking part in this product only for define and design the main app screen, which is the chat between the user and the device, i.e. Alfie.

Alfie knows to do these things:

1. Alfie is a chat bot, he can remember the user preferences and order the products he likes

2. Alfie knows to offer you products depend on your requests

3. Alfie is an app but also a physical product and the both should be connected one each other

The main goal of the app is to reinvent the way people make their shopping, therefore the challenge is to make a good connection between a chat bot and humane being. To create the option the connection will be clear, easy and fun and to make a quick understanding between both.

This screen is a conversation between Alfie and the user. From a benchmark I made I found that most of the chatbots has an identify in some way, and therefore I added Alfie logo near each message he send, this way, it fills that you talk with someone. 

The second thing that came up is about the option to be aware if Alfie understand all what you said to him when you talk to the device. For this, I added a "play" icon near each message that the user add. When you type on it, you will be able to hear the conversation.

The last things to deal with in this screen was the option to add images, for both sides, Alfie and the user. For example, if a user asks for advice what to buy for his 11 boy years old, Alfie will offer an option with its price and an image of it.
